Boxwood Properties, LLC was created in 2019 by Kristin Laine, as she saw a need in Nashville for focused, boutique, property Management and Development. Whether it is Short or Long Term Rental Management / Design Concierge / Renovations on your existing properties, or identifying lucrative opportunities, our talented personnel at Boxwood Properties are your personal go-to experts. Kristin's professional goal is to be efficient and profitable for you.

A Nashville native and 4th generation Real Estate Professional, Kristin has been licensed since 2006. She began her career in Real Estate in 2005 as an Administrative Assistant to New Construction Agents of HND Realty, LLC. Through the years (and economic recessions) Kristin picked up valuable leadership and job skills in Hospitality, Education, and Creative fields. She received her Bachelor Degree in Art History from MTSU in 2014. 

Kristin has had the opportunity to sell many New Construction communities in Nashville, develop Commercial / Residential / Industrial properties, and has found a special niche in Developing and Managing properties for Short Term Rental.

Tim is a Nashville native of 29 years. He is an Affiliate Broker at Boxwood Properties LLC, and VP of Property Management. As VP of Property Management, he supports the overall management of more than 20 properties that operate as Short and Long Term Rentals. Tim manages Boxwood's quality control in Maintenance, Guest Interaction, Rental Pricing and Reporting.

Tim is a Tennessee State University alumnus, with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. His previous experience includes Hospitality at Hotel Indigo Nashville, Sales at Comdata, and Finance at Ford Credit Company. He has been a licensed Realtor with Boxwood Properties, LLC since 2019.

Boxwood Properties provides quality Property Management and Real Estate services along with an extensive knowledge of the greater Nashville area. Rylee is our Client Concierge. She is highly trained to handle all of Boxwood's Contract-to-Close Services on all Real Estate Transactions, Leasing, and Property Management. She is a bright ray of sunshine in our office, with youthful energy and optimism!

Rylee Schmitt comes to Nashville from St. Louis, Missouri by way of Texas. Rylee graduated from University of Missouri, Columbia (Go Tigers!) with a Bachelor in Business Administration in May of 2019. While spending a year in San Antonio, Texas, exploring the city, Rylee obtained her Real Estate License. New opportunities brought Rylee to Nashville in 2020. She is now licensed in the State of Tennessee and has already become an irreplaceable part of the Boxwood Properties operations structure.

Clint Nichols was born and raised in Nashville, TN. As a student at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and a graduate of MTSU, Clint has a lifelong love of SEC sports and cheers on his Volunteers every Saturday in the fall. He has spent his life in customer service, ranging from Retail Management to Property Management and being a Realtor. Clint thrives on putting together numbers and using his vast knowledge to help others the best that he can. We really appreciate his ability to wear many hats! When available, he contributes extra support to our Maintenance staff as well as assisting with real estate and property management. He has a wife and one teenager named Audrey and they currently live in Murfreesboro.

Carolyn is a Nashville native with a passion for Real Estate, architecture and design. She is a multi-million dollar producer, business connector and has won several awards throughout her career in Real Estate. She is able to appreciate each clients unique needs and expectations and is able to ensure those are met due to her experience with a plethora of multifaceted Real Estate transactions including both commercial and residential. She is known for her vast knowledge of the Real Estate investment market, particularly within Nashville’s short term rental market, flips, new builds, developments and construction. Carolyn takes great pleasure in the negotiating process to guarantee her clients best interests and that they are in safe hands throughout the process. She understands that purchasing a home is typically the biggest investment in someones life and that with the correct guidance and knowledge it can be the most rewarding and successful one as well.

Katie is originally from Lafayette, Louisiana (Go LSU!) and moved to Nashville as a child so her dad could pursue songwriting. She married her highschool sweetheart, and has a beautiful daughter.

In 2004, Katie received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from MTSU. Her life focus is helping others, working numbers, and teaching. She started a career in banking in 1998 and transitioned in 2014, when she left the bank, to work for HND Realty, LLC. Katie quickly picked up on the intricacies of the Real Estate business by working with the seasoned professionals at HND. She became certified in TESOL and TEFL and has also been working for Vipkid as a ESL Teacher since 2018. 

Katie reunited with Real Estate in late 2019 as Accounts Receivable and Guest Management for Boxwood Properties, LLC. Her experience as a Realtor Assistant, Administrative Assistant, and Accounts Receivable make her a valuable asset to our team.

Caleb is our right hand man and certified electrician. After many years of working alongside Boxwood on-call, we are so happy that to have him as a full time member of our team!

Lauren Fields is not just an Assistant Property Manager, she is an integral piece in Boxwood's overall Client experience. With a background in Business Development and Communications, she brings energy and organization to the admin structure. Lauren is a loving mother of two fantastic boys, and supportive partner to Justin. Lauren is building a long-term career while executing her passion for helping others. She brings a shows up with a strong sense of dedication, motivation, and responsibility to our Boxwood Environment.

Sis has had some life experiences as unique as her (given) name. Her hometown is Los Angeles, where she was living before relocating to Nashville in 2019 for a lifestyle change, more space, a garden, and a little more fresh air. Sis has a multifaceted professional background which began in entertainment at a young age, dancing and acting. As an adult, writing and performing music came to the forefront of her life as she garnered a few record deals and chart topping singles.

In between projects Sis found great opportunities as Creative Assistant to CEO’s in Music, Photography, Fashion, Real Estate, Interior Design, Tech, Yoga and even Commercial Construction. Her well rounded experience as an Assistant often led to organic growth into Creative Director, Producer, Project or Team Management roles. We are happy to have Sis as an Affiliate Broker at Boxwood Properties, LLC.
